ICT Solutions Degroof Petercam successfully modernizes its digital infrastructure with Proximus and its subsidiary Proximus NXT Luxembourg
Degroof Petercam partnered with Proximus, through Proximus NXT, the brand dedicated to the professional market of Proximus Luxembourg, to renew its IT infrastructure in Belgium and Luxembourg. This infrastructure serves as the foundation for its digital transformation program.
Thanks to a successful collaboration between teams on both sides of the border, the group has achieved a profound transformation of its IT environment while maintaining the same high level of service quality.
At the end of 2019, financial group Degroof Petercam embarked on an ambitious program to transform its digital environment, focusing on cloud adoption, application landscape evolution, data exploitation, and security. Within this framework, modernizing its IT infrastructure was a prerequisite and a key first step to ensuring a scalable, sustainable, and future-proof digital environment.
This 12-month project was completed exactly one year after its launch and was carried out with complete transparency for the group’s teams in Belgium and Luxembourg. This enabled them to remain focused on their core business activities while maintaining optimal service quality throughout the entire period.
The new infrastructure, which meets the highest standards in terms of security and resilience, now provides the foundation for the group’s digital transformation.
Thanks to Proximus NXT/Proximus, Degroof Petercam now benefits from a stable, state-of-the-art infrastructure and the latest cloud innovations, while relying on 24/7 support teams to manage its daily IT operations. Furthermore, replacing its former energy-intensive servers with modern, environmentally friendly external servers will help reduce its environmental footprint.

Despite the challenges inherent to the health crisis, all teams remained fully committed to the project."
