Degroof Petercam successfully renews its digital infrastructure

At the end of 2019, financial group Degroof Petercam embarked on an ambitious programme to transform its digital environment: adopting cloud technologies, evolving its application landscape, leveraging data and strengthening security. As part of this programme, modernising its IT infrastructure was a prerequisite and an essential first step towards ensuring a scalable and sustainable digital environment.

The operation, which lasted exactly 12 months, was carried out completely transparently for the group’s teams in Belgium and Luxembourg, allowing them to remain focused on their core business while maintaining an optimal level of service throughout the process.

The new infrastructure, which meets the highest standards in terms of security and resilience, provides the foundation for the group’s digital transformation.

Thanks to Proximus NXT/Proximus, Degroof Petercam now benefits from a stable, state-of-the-art infrastructure and the latest cloud innovations, supported by 24/7 teams managing its IT environment on a daily basis. In addition, replacing its old energy-intensive servers with state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly external servers will help reduce its environmental impact.
