Telecoms
In less than ten years, Proximus NXT has risen to second place among telecom operators serving the business market in Luxembourg, clearly ahead of all its competitors and gradually closing the gap with the incumbent operator. The company is now a leading player in the sector, and telecommunications have become one of the key pillars of its development strategy. The jury of the Luxembourg ICT Awards was not mistaken in awarding Proximus NXT the Telecom Provider of the Year prize twice over the past three years.

Proximus NXT offers a comprehensive range of services to the entire Luxembourg ecosystem, regardless of the size of the businesses it serves. Through an operator model supported by an innovative strategy, both technologically and in its market approach, Proximus NXT serves both large organizations and SMEs.

“Our presence across all segments of the business market allows us to standardize and industrialize solutions initially designed to meet the specific needs of large organizations, and to make them accessible to those with more limited resources such as SMEs,” explains Hugues Stiernon, Telecom Solutions Department Manager at Proximus NXT.

Fixed connectivity

“In terms of fixed connectivity and telephony,” he continues, “we also offer a modular range that we provide as à-la-carte services. This flexible offering, based on the Explore product line, meets the needs of most of our customers, whether large enterprises or SMEs. Explore also allows us to address more specific requests without the pricing of the resulting tailored solutions exceeding those of other market players,” says Hugues Stiernon.

Mobility with Tango

Since the rapprochement between Proximus NXT and Tango two years ago, Proximus NXT has been responsible for distributing mobile services for business customers. To do so, Proximus NXT has its own product development department. For example, the Flex solution recently launched by Proximus NXT was entirely developed by its EBU division.

Towards convergence

“We are continuously working to sustain and expand our telecom portfolio, particularly by deepening the digitalisation of our products. Our ambition is to make convergence between fixed, mobile and IT technologies a reality, and ultimately to offer our customers fully integrated end-to-end solutions. Announcements in this regard could be made as early as next year,” concludes Hugues Stiernon.
